Applications are accepted throughout the year. We encourage families interested in CHCP to apply as early as possible, as availability varies by age group and schedule.
How Rolling Enrollment Works
Applications are accepted year-round and kept on file for future consideration. If an appropriate space is available, CHCP will contact your family about next steps. If a space is not immediately available, your application remains on file, with families asked to refresh their interest each spring.
For the upcoming school year, returning families enroll in February, followed by waitlist enrollment beginning in March. Openings may also arise throughout the year.
When making enrollment decisions, CHCP considers current classroom needs and seeks to create balanced, inclusive classroom communities. Priority is given to siblings of currently enrolled children and children of staff members.
The Application Process
- Submit Application: Complete the application below, download your completed form, and email it to enrollment@chapelhillcoop.com. Once your application is received, CHCP will send you a QuickBooks invoice for the $100 application fee.
- Waitlist & Review: Applications are considered based on your child’s age, desired schedule, classroom availability, and current enrollment needs.
- Space Offer & Visit: When an appropriate space is available, CHCP will contact your family about next steps and may invite you to visit the school.
- Annual Spring Refresh: Families without an available space are asked to confirm their continued interest each spring.
