Apply to CHCP
We’re so glad you’re interested in CHCP! Applications are welcome throughout the year, and we encourage families to apply early, as availability varies by age group and schedule.
How Enrollment Works
Returning families enroll in February, with priority given to siblings of currently enrolled children and children of CHCP staff. Beginning in March, we welcome new families from our waitlist for the upcoming school year. Occasionally, additional spaces may become available during the year.
As we consider applications, we look at each child’s age and desired schedule, available classroom spaces, and the needs of our classroom communities. Applications stay on file, and families are invited to refresh their interest each spring.
The Application Process
- Submit Your Application: Complete the application below, download your completed form, and email it to enrollment@chapelhillcoop.com. We’ll then send you a QuickBooks invoice for the $100 application fee.
- Waitlist & Review: We’ll keep your application on file and consider it as an appropriate space becomes available.
- Space Offer & Visit: When we have a space that may be a good fit for your child, we’ll reach out about next steps and may invite your family to visit CHCP.
- Stay in Touch: If a space isn’t yet available, we’ll invite you to confirm your continued interest each spring.
