Board of Directors
Volunteer leadership and strategic stewardship for our nonprofit cooperative preschool.

Stewarding CHCP for the Future
As a nonprofit cooperative preschool, CHCP is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that provides governance, financial oversight, policy guidance, and strategic leadership. The Board works in partnership with CHCP’s Executive Director and administration, who lead the school’s day-to-day operations.
The Board’s responsibilities include:
- Upholding CHCP’s mission and guiding long-term strategy
- Providing financial oversight and approving the annual budget
- Establishing major organizational policies
- Guiding long-term priorities and planning
- Supporting and overseeing the Executive Director
The Board considers the needs and perspectives of children, families, staff, and the broader CHCP community while making decisions in the best interests of CHCP and its mission as a whole.
Board members serve collectively as stewards of the school, contributing their experience, perspectives, and leadership to help CHCP thrive today and for generations to come.
